• Reflect on your previous Summer. How did you feel at the end of the summer? What is your motivation for returning another summer? Have you visited with friends and family about what another summer at camp might look like for you? Have you reflected on the leadership expectations the new staff members and leadership team will have for you?
• Look at your summer schedule and commitments. How much time are you are to commit to camp this summer? If you have questions about your commitments, e-mail hiring@campjohnmarc.org with your questions.
• Apply online. So that we can update your contact information, please complete the form even if you are unable to work this summer.
• Schedule a re-interview. We will meet in person or using Teams; interviews will be held the week of December 16-20, 2024.
• Final decision. Once the returning staff application process is complete, we will notify you of our decision in early January. If you have questions before then, email hiring@campjohnmarc.org

Compensation and Time Off
Summer Salary ranges from $300-$400 per week (room/board are included) depending on the number of summers on staff. Summer staff can expect to work from Sunday at noon to Friday at noon. Additionally, each staff member will work 5 weekends during the summer season. All summer staff receive one paid camp week (Sun-Sat) off.
